Creating Allsvinn

Moving to carbon fibre

For Allsvinn, the choice was made make the body from carbon fiber rather than the natural fibres that had been used in the 2021 car. The increased structural strength from the carbon weave is a crucial part in making a car meant to take on the worlds greatest.

Steel space frame

The frame is made of SSAB Docol R8 steel tubes. Docol steel is widely used in racing because of its extreme strength to weight ratio, allowing the car to remain both ridgid and safe during racing but also light enough not to be a hindrance in terms of rolling resistance and drag.

Racing Allsvinn

3000 km Through Australia

In 2023 Allsvinn competed in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge, eventually completing over 3000km through the Australian Outback. Allsvinn is the CST car that has made it the furthest thus far in the competition, ending the clocked race distance just shy of 3000km.

Swedish National Champions 2024

During 2024 CST25 traveled to Belgium to compete in the iESC. It was a tougher than expected week as deadlines rose ever closer to put the car together after some unexpected hardships during summer. But after a heroic effort by the team Allsvinn managed to secure a 7th place the competition and became the Swedish National Championship car, which we were incredibly happy with!
